Gabriel Baribeau

I am an artist who’s practice draws from my life working at the intersection of farming, fermenting, and construction. When I make work, I seek to conjure a complicated sense of terroir through my creative actions and decisions. By conducting material research specific to my locality, I transform my foraging and experimentation into pondering philosophical questions about material subjectivity and living on the land. I exist online, and between Hamilton Ontario and New York City.
